This program is reserved for those who do not have a scuba diver' s licence. It is not a scuba diving course but rather an introduction to the techniques of immersion. It includes two immersions, one from the practice beach to learn the basic exercises needed and one of choice in the Protected Marine Area around Portofino at the " Cristo degli Abissi " site ( the Christ of the Abyss ), a personal instructor, the renting of all equipment needed and a theory introduction lesson.
